It is well aware that director N Shankar is bringing out a film on Telangana and separate state struggle and launched it with several new faces long ago, with the title ‘Jai Bolo Telangana’. He was saying that a prominent hero would play a key role in his film.

At a press briefing held on Osmania University campus, the director shared some details about the movie.

He says, ‘Jagapatibabu is playing a cameo in our movie. He is playing the role of a Telangana martyr in our movie. We have shot a song on this university premises recently. We are planning to wrap up the shooting by November 25 and we are planning to release the film on December 20. Those who watch the film would literally understand the main objective behind the long-pending demand for a separate Telangana state.’
